I have always been drawn to literature and have found creative writing to be a freeing form of expression. I first began writing novels when I was 16 and over the years I have grown my craft through life experience and learning as much as I can about literature. 

When I was in sixth form I participated in the National Youth Theatre programme working on my writing and devising skills and wrote an article about being a student in COVID for my school newspaper.

This passion brought me to studying English Literature at Cambridge University where my understanding and love for literature was broadened. I also had a hand in the writing and devising of an original stage play titled Melanin Monologues performed at Corpus Playroom.

Since then I have continued to work on my poetic voice and novel writing partaking in Roundhouse Poetry drop-ins. 

Most recently I completed the V & A museum's INWRDS course that focused on writing craft, poetic structures and performance style. On the 4th of July 2026 I performed an original piece of poetry alongside my course mates in the Daylit Gallery.
